On the 10th of June Steve Shaw and myself (Lewis Farquhar) represented NEMTA at Kulturshock 2018. We were joined by Jeff Smith and Rob Beresford from CarTech and Chris Parkinson from Jennings, a huge thank you for helping us with the event and providing some amazing cars. We had the chance to bring the new Kia Stinger along from Jennings and a beautiful BMW M5 from CarTech. It is sure to say it brought a lot of attention our way.
As the number 1 North East motor trade specialists in recruitment Kulturshock was a great opportunity for us to leave the office and enter the sunshine to interact with all of you guys. We met all sorts of people and answered a lot of questions, if you came over to speak to us, we thank you very much, anyway let’s talk about the event.
From the get go a steady stream of car lovers and enthusiasts entered the event and of course with a lot of people, came a lot of cars (Pictures below) It was crazy to see how much time people had spent making their cars the loudest, fastest and even shiniest. If you are following our Twitter you will have already seen some of the events such as the ‘rev off’ which left my ears ringing and the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end.
The car limbo was also a very popular event which saw cars try to pass under a bar that got progressively lower and lower each time. Believe it or not but a car actually managed to pass under a gap 1.2 meters tall, that’s just under 4ft.
Overall the event was a big success and we were very happy to attend you can find a lot of behind the scenes photos on our social media accounts.
