We are an independent bodyshop group owned and managed in North East England with a team 100 strong and growing. Our mission is to respond to North East motorists' need for a recognised, reliable, accessible one-stop shop for all paint and body repairs. So if a motorist has an accident in their vehicle, no matter how large or small, we can handle the repairs. Before joining forces as North East Accident Repair Centres, each bodyshop had established an individual reputation over decades serving their area - Trewicks on Tyneside, Clarks on Wearside and Berrys on Teesside. Each still offers the convenience of local access. But the added investment in people and facilities provided by a region-wide network means consistent standards, whichever centre you choose.

Here at North East Accident Repair Centres we tend to take on an average of 6 apprentices a year and recruit in areas such as Parts, Paint, Panel Beater and Admin. No matter how many people we have already recruited we will always consider people local to our business and are always looking for people with potential, hence why we have recruited a total of 8 apprentices this year. What we look for in a potential apprentice is someone who is prompt and punctual, has an interest in cars and is enthusiastic.

Our Apprenticeship Programme

North East Accident Repair Centres run their training programme via Remit a specialist training provider to the Motor Trade. Typically this course will take three years and on completion you will gain an NVQ/VCQ level 3. To complete this qualification you will need to go to a further education college or training centre on a day. The rest of your time will be spent at your place of employment where you will get to learn practical skills from seeing a real working environment. You will shadow qualified technicians so you can learn first-hand how to perform the role, you will also get the opportunity to assist in the repair work. Once you pass your assessments and progress through your course you will be able to start completing tasks on your own. To ensure that you are competent in completing tasks by yourself a Remit assessor will visit you periodically at your work place to complete assessment testing with you.
